Blog Poll: Which Blizzard Game…

Which Blizzard game are you most anxiously awaiting?

Diablo III is an action role-playing game in a hack and slash and “dungeon roaming” style, currently in development as the third installment of Blizzard’s Diablo franchise.

StarCraft II is a trilogy of military science fiction real-time strategy video games currently under development by Blizzard Entertainment as a sequel to the award-winning 1998 video game StarCraft. StarCraft II, originally envisioned as a single game, was announced to be a trilogy at BlizzCon 2008, consisting of the base game and two subsequent expansion sets, entitled Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void respectively

Blizzard’s Successor to World of Warcraft In a post on the World of Warcraft message boards, Blizzard community manager Zarhym states flat out, “We have nothing to advertise for the new MMO because it’s a shell of a game thus far. We’ve already stated it’ll be a brand new franchise, which means the lore, art, and game play are being developed entirely from scratch. It’s an overwhelming process, but a process through which we excel. Our track record supports this.”

Right now, this very moment, it’s all about Diablo 3 for me.
Sure, the time for Starcraft 2 will come, but not now.
And perhaps when details of Blizzard’s next MMO drop, I’ll slaver over that for a while.
But I played Diablo 2 too much and too long to *not* crave it’s sequel.

Thanks for the comment Grend. I agree, Diablo 3 is the one I am most excited for. World of Warcraft is still fun to me (very casual player), so a new MMO doesn’t seem to awesome. Never was a huge fan of Starcraft, either.

I am excited for SC2 but that’s closer than d3 which I am really amped for. The upcoming mmo doesn’t thrill me too much as the mmo industry has been sucked dry.
